Vocal Psychotherapy has been used successfully to help gifted person, persons with various psychological and physical problems, and those who have difficulty coping with life stress to achieve personal wellness.

The Malaysia Psychology Centre is offering a Certification in Vocal Psychotherapy: When Words Sings & Music Speaks to provide opportunities for participants to experience the power of music and the voice in "In Depth Music Psychotherapy." A special guest from USA will be brought over, Dr Diane Austin, the psychologist and writer-facilitator to conduct this certification.

Diane will describe on how songs, music and vocalwork can be used in various stages of healing process to retrieve feelings, image and memories from unconscious through audiotaped case examples from work in private practice with adults, adolescents and trauma survivors.

We truly welcome participants who wish to accumulate certifications in order to attain a Diploma in Psychology. It is also beneficial to students or experienced working adults who are pursuing Degree programs in Psychology, Psychotherapy and Music Therapy or any other psychology profession; as an opportunity and open door to other careers in the future.

Completion of this certification will also leads towards the practitioner membership of Malaysian Psychotherapy Association (MAP). As a token of appreciation, company who would like to make refferals will receive an amount of 10% from the certification fees paid by each participant.
